Standard Edge Protection Guardrail

Our low cost freestanding solution to most guardrail requirements, Our free-standing Guard Rail System provides the ability to carry out all kinds of roof based maintenance, in a safe and secure environment, and conforms to NML & BS 6399, and also to Standard: EN13374:2004.I t can be easily installed without damaging or weakening the integrity of the roof.

Formed to a standard height of 1100mm, the guard rail is not only tough and effective, but is also aesthetically pleasing. Uneven roofs are no problem either, as each leg is easily adjusted with the turn of a key, which means that small areas can be repaired without the need to dismantle any part of the system.

Curved Guardrail Edge Protection

This Guardrail features a 60 degree curve which makes it invisible from ground level, and more attractive on larger buildings. Our curved Guardrail is similar in construction to our Standard Guardrail.

More importantly than being aesthetically pleasing, the curve on this Guardrail makes the whole rooftop safety system invisible from street level. This means that commercial premises benefit from the full safety of the guardrail without making the building look unsightly to visitors.

Again our curved Guardrail conforms to NML & BS 6399, and also to Standard: EN13374:2004 at Satra Technology Centre. It can be easily installed without damaging or weakening the integrity of the roof.

Collapsible Guardrail Edge Protection

Completely freestanding and easy to assemble, our Collapsible Rooftop Guardrail folds down when not in use to comply with requirements for listed, older and historical buildings.

Health and Safety in older buildings can present you with a dilema. You have to ensure that you meet all the working at height regulations, but are restricted in what you can do that would affect the look of the building. This has generally been difficult when guardrail has to reach above the roof-level, which is why we have introduced our unique Collapsible Guardrail.

The technology is in the ultra strong hinged bracket, which allows the system to easily fold back on itself. It is fixed with a bolt and wingnut meaning that each section can be erected or collapsed in under 30 seconds. In a similar fashion to our other systems, 20KG weights are used as stabilising feet, every 5 metres, which makes the system completely freestanding, meaning no drilling which could cause damage the roof.

The Evorail Collapsable Guard Rail System conforms to NML & BS 6399, and also to Standard: EN13374:2004 at Satra Technology Centre. It can be easily installed without damaging or weakening the integrity of the roof. Formed from pre-galvanized ‘GalvZ2’ or aluminium, the guardrail is not only tough and effective, but is also aesthetically pleasing.

Parapet Guardrail Edge Protection

Extends to the height of a parapet , to meet Working at Height Regulations for Safety. You may think it is okay to work on a roof if you have a parpaet, however this is only the case if your parapet is over 1m in height.

There are two solutions you can consider. If you have solid, stong, good quality coping stones along the top of your parapet system, you might want to consider our Top-Fix System. On the other hand if your roof is wrapped in felt, a more substantial fixing must be used. Our Parapet System is designed to be modular ,and features adjustable clamps which fix onto either side of your wall.

Topfix Guardrail

Our only non-freestanding guardrail. Topfix secures onto coping stones on top of your parapit wall (as long as they are in good condition) to provide permanent fixed protection from falls. Topfix Guardrail is the ideal edge protection system for parapet roofs, lining the top as shown in our image bank. If coping stones are damaged, or weak, please consider our Parapet Edge Protection System. Feet are mounted 2.5 metre apart, which allow M10 bolts to be fixed.

Topfix Guardrail is height adjustable using just a 5mm allen key and is available in Galvanised Steel or Aluminium. We can accommodate either a sliding access point, of self-closing swing gate for ladders or walkways. Access ladders, step-over platform walkways for pipework and raised ducting, are also available.
